Listening to Wayne Crowe on building an e mail list.
You need a squeeze page. A page that you use to get people’s e mails. You get traffic to a squeeze page so that people will seek more information and give their e mail. Some people call it an op’tin page or a lead capture page. They all do the same thing, capturing a person’s e mail address..
You will need an auto-responder to send offers to your list. Some people recommend a maximum of three e mails a day to each list member. We need to build our own list. It is the best asset that you have in your business. Are you building your e mail list?
I receive many e mails from different opportunities and peoples that I have dealt with over the years. I started online about fifteen years ago. As of today I don’t have an e mail list. Would you believe that? I should have a list of thousands but I neglected to build one.
Today I will start building my list and am following Wayne Crowe’s direction in addition to a few others that I am learning from. Now to setup my auto-responder. I know I need to get an auto-responder provider. I do have a couple that I used through various opportunities. It will have to be a paid provider and not a free one.
I MUST BUILD A LIST..I MUST BUILD A LIST..I MUST BUILD A LIST
Those notes were taken from the webinar.
Things we need as we begin to build our list.
Which platform to use?
Stay clear of spam and spammers.
Deliverability is of prime importance. There will be a learning curve.
What is the right auto-responder platform?
Do we use single or double op’tin? Wayne recommends single op’tin.
Traffic is of prime importance. Open and click rate starts with good traffic. Stick to places where you get good traffic. Follow those who know what they are talking about. You pay for what you get.
Deliverability…. Stats show open and click rates. You need more opens and clicks to be successful. You have to get a high open and click rate. Make sure your spelling is correct. Use spell check.
To build a list you have to be taught correctly.
You need your own domain. You need automation for follow up e mails. You need good copy. Getting past writers block.
A simple way to get traffic. The Mega E mail Tsunami
I have to listen to the last part of the webinar again as I was called away before it finished.
What is a webinar? Definition: A webinar is a live event held online with a purpose to teach or inform virtual audience members about a topic..
The Simplicity Of An E Mail List
The simplicity of an email list lies in its fundamental purpose: to maintain a list of email addresses to which you can send messages. Compared to more complex communication or marketing tools, email lists are straightforward and easy to manage. They can be used for various purposes, such as sending newsletters, updates, promotions, or general communication.
Setting up an email list typically involves choosing an email marketing service, importing or collecting email addresses, and creating and sending emails to the list. These services often provide templates, analytics, and automation features to help you manage your list effectively.
Despite their simplicity, email lists can be powerful tools for communication and marketing, allowing you to reach a targeted audience directly in their inbox.
The Simplicity Of An Auto Responder
The simplicity of an autoresponder lies in its ability to automatically send predefined messages in response to specific triggers, such as receiving an email or filling out a form. Autoresponders are commonly used for out-of-office replies, confirming receipt of an email, or sending a series of messages in an email marketing campaign.
Setting up an autoresponder typically involves creating the message or series of messages you want to send and defining the trigger or triggers that will activate the autoresponder. Once set up, the autoresponder will handle the responses automatically, saving you time and ensuring timely communication with your audience.
Autoresponders are simple to use and can be a valuable tool for managing communication workflows, providing immediate responses to inquiries, and maintaining engagement with your audience.
Triggers In Auto Responders
Triggers in autoresponders are events or actions that cause the autoresponder to send a predefined message or series of messages. Triggers can vary depending on the specific autoresponder system or email marketing platform you are using, but some common triggers include:
- Subscription: When someone subscribes to your email list, they may receive a welcome email or a series of onboarding messages.
- Form Submission: After someone fills out a form on your website, they may receive a confirmation email or a follow-up message.
- Purchase Confirmation: When a customer makes a purchase, they may receive a confirmation email along with additional information about their purchase or related products.
- Abandoned Cart: If a customer adds items to their cart but does not complete the purchase, they may receive a reminder or incentive to complete the purchase.
- Birthday or Anniversary: Sending a special message or offer to subscribers on their birthday or anniversary.
- Inactivity: If a subscriber has not engaged with your emails for a certain period, you may send a re-engagement email to try to rekindle their interest.
These triggers can be set up and customized in your autoresponder system to automate communication based on specific actions or events, helping you engage with your audience more effectively.

What is ChatGpt?
ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence language model developed by OpenAI. It is based on the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture, specifically the GPT-3.5 version. ChatGPT is designed to generate human-like text responses based on the input it receives. It has been trained on a large corpus of text data from the internet, allowing it to understand and generate responses across a wide range of topics and contexts. ChatGPT can be used for various applications such as answering questions, engaging in conversation, generating text, and more.
